Josephine Lucas (Penic) Warner

Josephine Lucas Warner, 83, of Warrenton, VA, passed February 25, 2026, at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, VA.   She was born on January 19, 1943.  
  
Josephine is survived by two sons: Dr. Major R. (Lisa) Warner, Jr. of Delaplane, VA, and Mark A. Warner of Warrenton, VA; three daughters: Doreen V. (Mark) Lewis of Strasburg, VA, Joann (Bruce) Haley of Linden, VA, and Josephine I. Warner of Warrenton, VA; one brother, Joseph Penic, Jr. of Markham, VA; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10 am until 11 am with funeral services starting at 11 am at Beulah Baptist Church, 3124 Beulah Road, Markham, VA, 22643. Rev. Michael Ferguson will officiate and Rev. James Hughson will deliver the eulogy.
  
Interment will be in Mt. Morris Community Cemetery, Hume, VA.
