Jacqueline Washington Rich

Jacqueline Washington Rich, 84, of Alexandria, VA, passed January 21, 2026.  
  
She was born on February 28, 1941, and was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald D. Rich.

Jacqueline was a 1958 graduate of Manassas Regional High School and a 1962 graduate of Virginia State College. Her professional career was spent as an Early Childhood educator in Fairfax County.”

Jacqueline is survived by five sisters, Norma (Robert) Washington Harold of Hampton, VA, Karen V. Washington of Manassas, VA, Doris J. Washington of Washington, DC, Velma L. Washington of Haymarket, VA, and Gailyn W. Coles of Manassas Park, VA; and one brother, Robert L. Washington, Jr. of Haymarket, VA.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 11am until 12 pm with funeral services starting at 12 pm at Olive Branch Baptist Church, 4203 Mountain Road, Haymarket, VA 20169. Rev. George Farmer will deliver the eulogy. 

Interment will be in Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Haymarket, VA.
