Obituary
Carolyn Letitia Weaver, 75, of Burke, Virginia, passed on March 28, 2017, at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Virginia.
She was born on July 17, 1941, and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Troy Weaver, Sr.
Carolyn is survived by two daughters: Princess L. (Cameron) Gamble of Washington, DC; Margaret Lisa Johnson of Bronx, NY; two sons: Antoine A. Weaver of Burke, VA, Thaddeus H. Hale, Jr. of Roanoke, VA; two brothers: Willard Walker of Alexandria, VA and Howard Allan Walker of Los Angeles, CA.
Family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2017, from 12:30 pm until memorial service at 1pm, at Antioch Baptist Church, 6531 Little Ox Road, Fairfax Station, Virginia, 22039. Rev. Dr. Marshall L. Ausberry, Sr., will deliver the eulogy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, 1400 Constitution Ave.,NW, MEC 1405 Washington, DC, 20560. Attn. March Wood. Please make checks payable to: Smithsonian NMAAHAC and note the memory of Mrs. Carolyn L. Weaver.

I spied your mother from another chair in the beauty salon. Her hairdresser was moving. I approached her and asked her if I could have her. I could tell I loved her then. She was remarkable woman,worldly and always so full of life. I always enjoyed her. I'm very sorry for her passing. My prayers and love.
